“ Japanese eatery themed dining, neat but not a warm vibe. Quick service, but waiters could be more friendly. No suggestions or recommendations. Food order was requested to be red broth and spicy for tonkatsu ramen but they brought out wrong broth and chasu pork was horribly tough. Meat was bland and so was the egg...broth was mild. Double garlic had barely any garlic flavor. Omurice curry with fried shrimp was good. Nicely flavored tomato base rice and deep curry flavor. Takoyaki was well executed, crispy outside and soft inside. chicken karaage was bland and needed more spice and salt. Overall not a standout place to go to. ”

“ Food was great, do note that you will have to wait a bit for each dish. I would like to think this means every dish is made to order. Servings are fairly decent for the price point. Only issue I had was with the professionalism of the servers. We asked for 3 water with no ice, first time around they gave us two waters with ice, second time three waters one with ice. ”

“ Moriya Shokudo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely delicious! I had an excellent meal at Moriya Shokudo and will definitely be coming back. I ordered the Tokyo Spicy Miso Ramen, which came loaded with tender pork chashu, crisp bean sprouts, cabbage, green onion, onion, seaweed, and a perfectly seasoned boiled egg. The broth was rich, creamy, and full of umami flavor — exactly what you’d hope for in a great bowl of ramen. I also tried the kimchi on the side, which had a nice kick and balanced out the richness of the ramen really well. The menu had a great selection, and it honestly made it tough to decide — everything looked so good. I’m really happy with the ramen I chose, but next time I visit, I’m definitely trying one of their curry options. Can’t wait to come back! ”
“ My husband and I both had the curry (chicken katsu and shrimp). The curry was tasted like it's been reheated too many times. The shrimp was not worth the price considering there only 2 shrimp and most of that was batter. I recommend using bigger shrimp and increasing the amount to at least 3, seeing how there is way more chicken for the same price. Also, the shrimp should have way less batter. I love the ambiance. They had Kiki delivery service and quite a few mangas to choose from--very childhood comfort vibe (if I were Japanese). ”

“ Glad they moved out of the food court to a more convenient location for me. Friendly & quick service for weekday lunch, when I'm more on a time crunch. The yuzu shio ramen is on the lighter side, which doesn't make me feel uncomfortable afterwards. The katsu is perfection, right crisp & juiciness & not dried; add radish to your heart's content. Lunch specials & for nearby students too! ”
